Arbour Day 5th June
10 Jun 2020

To mark Arbour Day, Thelma and Pete went down to the native bush at the rear of the museum to plant three Kauri trees. These trees were purchased last summer by some of our international visitors as part of our Kauri replanting programme. We've been waiting for the rain to plant them. Today was the day... there was a break in the rain, the planting team seized the moment, trees planted, more rain. Perfect!
